World Summit Contributory Conference on ICT & Creativity

The World Summit Contributory Conference on ICT & Creativity, an Austrian initiative, was held in Vienna on June 2 and 3, 2005. It aimed to take a critical look at what had happened worldwide since the beginning of the Digital Revolution, to agree on measures to shape the further development of the Information Society, and to produce “a truly optimistic statement”, the Vienna Declaration, intended for the second part of the World Summit on the Information Society in Tunis in 2005.
