About the biennale
The Biennale de Paris in Toruń took place from May 20 to 23, 2025 at the Znaki Czasu Contemporary Art Centre, co-organised by the centre and the Faculty of Fine Arts of Nicolaus Copernicus University. Over four days, it brought together lectures, presentations, workshops and walks in the city.
It opened on May 20 with the third edition of the colloquium “What kind of art collection for the future?”, after New York in 2011 and Paris in 2015.
Ricardo Mbarkho took part with two lectures: “The Invisual Art Collection – in progress – at the Lebanese Academy of Fine Arts, University of Balamand, Beirut”, within the colloquium on May 20, and “The Political Economy of Invisual Art” on May 21.
