June 1999 programme

The Association pour la propriété intellectuelle de l’être sur lui-même (Association for the intellectual property of the self over itself), which has just been set up by artists of the Ecole nationale supérieure des beaux arts de Paris (declared on 25/02/99), follows two lines of development:
- Positions in art, aiming to take thought beyond current proposals.
- Promotion of the work of artists who work towards a new practice of art.

Here is the programme for June:
Positions in art
To develop current teaching, the Association proposes a reflection on the creation of a new teaching field in art schools, first and foremost at the Ecole nationale supérieure des beaux arts de Paris, to which many of the students who will be present on June 7 owe their training. It invites students, teachers, art professionals and anyone interested in art and/or teaching to take part in this reflection.

The Association is organising a debate at the Centre d’information et de documentation (CID) of the Ecole nationale supérieure des beaux arts de Paris on Monday June 7, 1999 at 4:30 pm sharp to present its proposals and to invite those interested to take part.
